Fair fee

SOM: you contribute 7 or 11 euros per month, depending on income.

Others: 12 to 15 euros per month, or double if there is an extra salary payment.

SOM: the fee covers legal assistance from the first moment.

Others: they charge for legal services depending on membership seniority.

Decisions

SOM: you decide in in-person or online assemblies.

Others: executive bodies and negotiating tables decide for you.

Funding

SOM: is funded only by membership fees, with no strings attached.

Others: receive public and company subsidies. Whoever pays calls the shots.

SOM: delegates work by your side, with autonomy in each section.

Others: full-time union officials negotiate agreements that may not affect them.
